He is survived by: his wife Virginia Cummiskey Simpson; and his children, Arlene DeMonstoy (Steve), John Simpson, Nancy Joly, David Simpson, Phillip Simpson (Valerie) and Mary Nimmer (Tim). He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
