He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Hugh" Gallagher and Margaret Gallagher (Herrmann); his wife Geraldine "Gerri" Gallagher (Steadman); and his brother John "Jack" Gallagher. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Jr. (Tara Hoeksema), Mary, Kathleen (Nathanial Cieslak) and Gretchen (David Durney); his brothers, Thomas Gallagher and Matthew Gallagher (Jacqui); his niece Rebecca Swope; and his nephews, Justin and Timothy Gallagher. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family members and dear friends.
