He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bankert and Adella Bankert (Lentz); and his siblings, Harold Bankert, Jr., Imogene Bankert, John Bankert, Cecil Bankert and Ann Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his daughters, Brenda Bankert and Bonnie Shirley (Tom); his granddaughters, Shaina Zevallos and Alyssa Zevallos; and his sister Barb Brodbeck. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, Bill expressed his wish for contributions to be made in his memory to Tender Care Pregnancy Consultation, 300 John Street, Hanover, PA 17331, an organization close to his heart.
