William Philip Bankert Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Philip Bankert of Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bankert and Adella Bankert (Lentz); and his siblings, Harold Bankert, Jr., Imogene Bankert, John Bankert, Cecil Bankert and Ann Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his daughters, Brenda Bankert and Bonnie Shirley (Tom); his granddaughters, Shaina Zevallos and Alyssa Zevallos; and his sister Barb Brodbeck. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hanover First Church of God (600 Fairview Dr, Hanover, PA 17331). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Bill expressed his wish for contributions to be made in his memory to Tender Care Pregnancy Consultation, 300 John Street, Hanover, PA 17331, an organization close to his heart.
