It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas S. Meyer Sr. of Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Thomas departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Thomas leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Meyer, Sr. and Rose V. Meyer (Cugle); and his son Steven D. Ross. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth A. Meyer (Weinhold); his children, Jessica L. Gallagher (Jeremy) of Hanover and Thomas S. Meyer, Jr. of Lititz; his grandchildren, Adalynn R. Gallagher and Declan T. Gallagher; and his brother James B. Meyer, Jr. (Emily) of Elkridge, MD.
A Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (5125 Grandview Rd, Hanover, PA 17331).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Delone Catholic High School, 140 S. Oxford Avenue, McSherrystown, PA 17344 or to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA 17331.
