He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Fissel and Earl Fissel; and his wife Mary Fissel. He is survived by: his brother Edward Fissel of Timonium, MD; his nephews, William Fissel of Ashburn, VA, David Fissel of Arlington, VA and James Fissel of Marfa, TX.; and his niece Nancy Fissel Rathell of Glenville, PA.
