He was predeceased by: his parents, William Preston and Anita Louise Bossom. He is survived by: his sister Stephanie Ann Smith; his brother-in-law Martin J. Smith, Jr. of Hampstead; and his nieces, Abigail Dyer Smith (Kevin Tam) of Belair, MD and Amelia Caroline Smith of Hampstead. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
