With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley J. Smith of Hanover, Pennsylvania, born in Belsano, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 14, 2021 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Bishop and Marie Bishop (Rummel); her sons, Rodney Smith and Robert M. Smith, Jr.; her siblings, Matilda Finley, Allen Bishop, Jr. and Robert Bishop; her brother-in-law Bernard Smith; and her son-in-law Todd Hoover.
She is survived by: her husband Robert M. Smith; her children, Ronald Smith, Roland Smith, Richard Smith and Barbara Hoover; and her siblings, Eva May Smith, Darlene Anderson, Donald Bishop (Karen), Gary Bishop (Cindy), Connie Frantz (David), Russell Bishop (Dee) and Beverly Chekan (Andy). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
