With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Katherine Alles of Hanover, Pennsylvania, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on July 3, 2021 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John V. Matern and Dorothy E. Matern (Gaertner); and her brother Dan Matern. She is survived by: her husband Gregory D. Alles; her children, Mary Elissa Robinson (Kevin E.) of Wallingford, Timothy John Alles of Philadelphia, Cassandra Christel Anderson (Adam D.) of Bethesda, MD and Zachary Michael Alles (Athena R. Sweeten) of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Bryce Edward Robinson, Sophia Christelle Anderson and Owen Thomas Anderson; her siblings, Ted Matern (Carlynn) of Brooklyn, NY and Betsey Foley (Dennis) of Vail, CO; her sisters-in-law, Mary A. Bird Matern of Chesterton, IN and Karen Prante (Gerald) of Houston, TX.; her nieces, Claire, Jeanette, Erin, Jeri Lynn and Lindsay; and her nephew Jacob. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
