He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer D. Witman and Pauline Witman (Bowman); and his sister Jane Welsh (Witman). He is survived by: his wife Joan Danner Witman of Spring Grove, PA.; his children, Elizabeth Witman (Kim), Thomas Witman (Michele) and William Witman (Lisa); his grandchildren, Samantha Luckenbaugh (Witman), Christopher Witman and Issac Witman; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Rhett and Cecelia; and his brother-in-law John Danner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kenworthy Funeral Home (269 Frederick St, Hanover, PA 17331). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (127 York St, Hanover, PA 17331).
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Saint Paul's Lutheran Church on York Street in Hanover and please designate that any money be used for the church's Grocery Ministry.
