He was predeceased by: his parents, Donley W. Nelson and Ellen S. Nelson (Clark); and his brother Martin Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Nelson (Marshall); his children, Kathleen Doucet, Jean Marie Nelson, John Nelson (Danna), Patricia Keffer, Jacqueline Brady (Randy), Joseph Nelson (Terri) and Susan Nickol (Michael); his grandchildren, Katy, Allison, Emma, Ashley, Brian, Nate, Justin, Stephanie, Zachary, Lucas, Aaron, Andy and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Atlas, Harper, Ben, Elliott, Adley, Alissa, Kaylee, Devan, Blaire, Kendall, Camden, Madison, Dominic and Knox; and his siblings, Virginia Myers, Robert Nelson, Donley Nelson, Jr. and Richard Nelson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kenworthy Funeral Home (269 Frederick St, Hanover, PA 17331). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (269 Frederick St, Hanover, PA 17331).
