He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis L. Groft and Anna R. Groft (McGlaughlin); and his siblings, George Groft and Debra Yealey. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl D. Groft (Heller); his children, Scott A. (Etsuko Groft) of Hanover, PA and Vanessa A. Stephens (Black) of Erie, PA.; his grandchildren, Carolyn Waite, Masa Groft and Toshi Groft; and his siblings, Edward Groft, Timothy Groft, Vickie McMahon and Connie Stonesifer.
