He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Laverne and Naomi Bernice Rodman Young; and his siblings, Anita Young, Richard Young, Benjamin Young and David Young.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Laverne Young; his son Ray Nolan Young, Jr. (Michelle); and his siblings, Robert Young, Kennith Young and Patricia Ferreira. He is also survived by numerous extended family, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
