She was predeceased by: her husband Major Robert B. Cave, I; her parents, Robert Dodds and Henrietta Moffatt Dodds; her daughter Karen M. Cave; and her grandson Alexander Moffatt Cave.
She is survived by: her children, Robert B. Cave, II (Kathleen Garner) of Parkton, MD and Kathleen M. Ridge (James) of Hanover; her grandchildren, Tyler J. Ridge of Hanover, Margaret K. Cave of Parkton, MD, Makenzie R. Ridge of Hanover and Hunter M. Ridge of Virginia Beach, VA; and her sisters, Helen Nichols, Ruthie Durst of Cumberland, MD and Catherine Holcomb of Bel Air. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
