It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul J. Crook of Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Crook and Margie Rhinehart Crook; his siblings, Ronald Crook and Joanne Miller; and his close friend Gladys Reese.

He is survived by: his children, Gregory Crook of Lykens, Brian of Hanover, Barton Crook of Hanover, Jeanette Crook of York and Paulette Crook of Hanover; and his close friend Shirley Warner. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York County SPCA, 3159 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.

“From my old Clearwater, Florida photo albums, I happen to have this picture of Paul and Connie Curls made in December, 1951 or January, 1952. I was dating Connie at the time and he was home on furlough. Four of us were going out that evening and I snapped this picture when they came to pick me up. After a year or two, I lost track of both of them and often wondered what happened to them. Jewell McKinley Harding (Clearwater Hi, class of 1948)”
