He is survived by: his wife Joan Ellen Potter (Butler); his mother Ann Farwell (Rowe) of Frederick, MD; his children, Christopher Scott Potter (Emily) of Matthews, NC and Shelley Leigh Potter of Frederick, MD; his siblings, Julie Kaufman (Artie) of Walkersville, MD, Molly Buehn (Mark) of Thurmont, MD and Richard Potter of Silver Spring, MD; his sister-in-law Margaret Potter of Eldersburg, MD; and his grandchildren, Kayleigh Potter, Evan Potter, Emma Masters and Colton Denton.
