He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph "Jack" Hockensmith and Sally Hockensmith (Sanders). He is survived by: his wife Rita M. Hockensmith (Wyatt); his sons, Brent Hockensmith (Erica), Drew Hockensmith, Shana, Jake Hockensmith and Lindsey; his stepchildren, Stacy Neiderer (Eric), Shawn Kohler (Rebecca) and Stephanie Starling (Josh); his grandchildren, Lucy, Maddox, Charlotte, Reed, Makayla, Payton and Cameron; and his sister Beth Miranda (Ken).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Church.
