She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry B. Taylor and Laura E. Atkinson Taylor; her husband Walter K. Smith; and her brother George V. Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn J. Smith of Raleigh, NC and Rev. Richard D. Smith of Gettysburg, PA..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Centenary United Methodist Church, 99 North Main Street, Biglerville, PA 17307 or Homewood at Plum Creek Benevolent Fund, 425 Westminster Ave., Hanover, PA 17331.
