She was predeceased by: her parents, James Byron and Lillian Margaret Hughes Ellis; her husband Melvin Arthur Walker; her granddaughter Tina Marie Jacoby; and her brother James David Ellis.

She is survived by: her daughters, Joanne Cowan (Jerry) of Spring Grove, PA, Elaine Caler of Hanover, PA and Judy Yarger (Ronnie) of Hanover, PA; her siblings, Catherine Scheuch, Virginia Evans and Murphy Ellis (Jeannette); her sister-in-law Linda Ellis; and her pet Sadie. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
