It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lettie M. Hess of Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton L. Markle and Mabel M. Markle (Kaltreider); her husband Bernard H. Hess; and her brothers, Floyd Markle and William Markle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Cook (Bill) of California, Beverly Sheely (Jeff) and Vicky Martin (Ben) of Hanover; and her sisters, Margaret Hoffheins and Nancy Nester. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kenworthy Funeral Home (269 Frederick St, Hanover, PA 17331). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (269 Frederick St, Hanover, PA 17331).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, 17 Wayne Avenue, Hanover, PA 17331.
