He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis P. Smith and Helen L. Smith (Schlaline); and his siblings, Emily Stewart, Loretta Gebhart, Bernard "Bernie" Smith and Frank E. "Smitty" Smith.
He is survived by: his fiancée Virginia A. Stultz; his children, Tammy Andrews Carr of Surprise, AZ and Andy Smith (Patricia) of Dallastown; his grandchildren, Brandon Andrews, Kaitlyn Andrews and Teddy Carr; his stepchildren, Amanda and Joshua; and his siblings, Barb Gotwalt (Robert), William "Bill" Smith (Bev), Helen Lentz (Rod), Linus "Boze" Smith, Mary Roberts (Randy), Dennis "Brown" Smith (Rhonda), Edward "Tank" Smith and Lori Cnota. He is also survived by loving family members and friends.
