With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen M. Smith of Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 24, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer V. Smith; her parents, Mark S. Smith Sr. and Anna M. Smith (Keagy); and her brother Msgr. She is survived by: her children, Edward Smith (Roberta) of Hanover, Andrew Smith (Belinda) of New Oxford, Karen Smith (Barry) of New Oxford, Lori Markle (David) of McSherrystown, Suzanne Klunk (Patrick) of Hanover and Julie Brown (Tom) of Hanover; her grandchildren, Matt Kirkland, Ryan Smith, Brandon Smith, Ben Smith, Derek Lukens, Zachary Kennedy, Jocelyn Smith, Wesley Smith, Jared Markle, Josh Markle, Christopher Markle, Jeremy Klunk, Brittany Klunk, Luke Smith, Megan Smith and Courtney Bloom; her great grandchildren, Lola, Nikolai, Violet, Owen, Lincoln and Cole; and her siblings, Donald J. Smith, Larry F. Smith, Dolores Byron, Rose Jarbeck and Thomasine Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID19, a Mass of Christian Burial and Interment will be held privately by the family.
