Katherine Koontz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2021, at the age of 90, Katherine Koontz of Hanover, Pennsylvania, born in Finksburg, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry and Leona Armacost (Kay); her husband Karl Grant Henry Koontz; and her sisters, Louise Armacost and Evelyn Armacost Schaeffer.
She is survived by: her children, Henry Koontz (Sarah) of Woodbine, Gwendolyn Heemann (Stephen) of Timonium and Kenneth Koontz (Marianne Schmidt) of Eldersburg; her grandchildren, Maggie Manning (Brett), Erika Koontz, Alexander Koontz, Scott Heemann (Lenin Alzamora), Erin Heemann, Ryan Heemann (Layne Price), Justine Koontz and Dane Koontz; and her great grandchildren, Braden and Ryder. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
