Though Karen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell E. Chewning and Joyce Chewning (Duke); and her siblings, Phyllis D. Knapic and Russell E. Chewning, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Charles L. Gunsallus; her daughters, Rebecca Phillips (Chris) and Sarah Gunsallus; and her sister Cheryl Ferger.
A reception will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center Inc. (311 Broadway, Hanover, PA 17331).
