She was predeceased by: her spouse Lynn Hockenberry; and her parents, Ofa D. Whited and Ola C. Whited (Mason). She is survived by: her sons, Randy L. Hartlaub of Gettysburg and Michael L. Hess (Melissa Shull) of Dover; her stepsons, Larry Hess of Aspers, Mike Hockenberry of Chambersburg and Herbie Hockenberry of Fayetteville; and her sister Rose Brumgard of Gettysburg. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
