He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph E. Mort and Ethel R. Clingan Mort; and his wife Shirley Buffington Mort. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Waltz (Lew) of Hanover and Diane Holloway (Scott) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Christi Poland and Jason Waltz (Angie); his great grandchildren, Calin, Lillian and Quinn; his sister Jean Mort of California; his son James Mort; and his siblings, Kenneth Mort, Robert Mort and Regina Mort Foreman.
