He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Nellie Mae Epling (Jones); and his siblings, Paul Epling, Elsie, Goldie and Gladys.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine M. (Darby); his children, Cynthia M. MacLean, Sandra L. Keating of Gaithersburg, MD and John T. Epling of Hanover, PA; his grandchildren, Isabella M. Epling, Tyler A. Keating and Kelcie M. Keating; his great grandchild Bailey Keating; and his sisters, Ruth and Eva Mae. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
