We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2023, at the age of 69, John Alvin Putman Sr. of Hanover, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cathy J. Putman (Gladfelter); his parents, Fannie Virginia Putman and Snyder; his children, John Alvin Putman II (Elizabeth), Phillip Allen Putman (Lydia) and Jessica Eilene Putman (Michael Lytle); his grandchildren, Aurora, Zoey, Matthew, Ellieonya, Xavier, Kayden, Talijae and Michael II; and his siblings, Raymond Putman, Linda Rowland, Joann Azzerello, Marie Chappman, Marvin Putman and Thomas Putman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, 50 E. King Street, York, PA 17401, Disabled American Veterans at https://www.dav.org, or to the family to help defray funeral costs.
