It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Beard of Hanover, Pennsylvania, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dale and Madeline Memmel Workley; and her sister Patricia Stansberg. She is survived by: her children, John Beard (Kim), Diane Bixler (Brian), Jeff Beard (Vickie) and Jason Beard; her grandchildren, Tyler, Liam, Matthew, Leeann, Kristina, Karli and Kelsi; her great grandchildren, Lorenzo and Emmy; and her brother Dale Workley (Nancy).
