Janis Darlene Hood Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janis Darlene Hood of Hanover, Pennsylvania, born in Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Neil Sparks and Uva Leon Bandy Sparks; her husband Woodrow L. "Woody" Hood, Jr.; and her siblings, Howard Sparks, Maybelle Beavers, Margie Powers and Gladys Elste.
She is survived by: her pet Willow; her children, Richard G. Kittle (Alison) of Colorado Springs, CO and Kimberly L. Hale (Darryl) of Taneytown, MD; her grandchildren, Dalton, Timothy Kittle, Morgan and Mason Hale; and her siblings, Marie, Betty, Loucille and Lawrence. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
