She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Staggs and Margaret Staggs (Holladay); and her daughters, Christine Higgins of Gettysburg, Deborah Winand (John) of New Oxford, Diana Aumen (Lawrence Jr.) of Elverson, PA and Janice Higgins of McSherrystown. She was also cherished by 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Janet's memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care of Mt. Joy, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy, PA 17552.
