She was predeceased by: her husband Richard J. Smith; her parents, Clinton A. Carbaugh and Evelyn B. Leppo (Carbaugh); her grandparents, William U. and Salome B. Carbaugh (Rutter); and her sons, Michael J. Smith and Joseph A. Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Lori J. Smith of East Berlin, PA; and her children, Geneva M. Jacoby (Pius) of New Oxford, PA, Mary A. Ruth of Hanover, PA, James E. Smith (Jessica) of Dover, PA, Paul W. Smith (Melissa) of New Oxford, PA and John P. Smith of Hanover, PA.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
