In loving memory of James E. Wherley of Hanover, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on January 21, 2025 at the age of 87. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Wherley and Ethel Wherley Brockway (Weikert); his grandson Nathan James Wherley; and his siblings, Richard, Ray, Robert, William, Herbert, John, David, Fred Wherley, Ruth Yohe, Dorothy Wherley, Evelyn Workman, Helen Bollinger, Shirley Werner and Linda Wherley.
He is survived by: his son James Wherley, Jr. (Michele); his grandson Brandon Wherley; and his siblings, Nancy Plunkett and Donald Wherley (Lois).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sam's Creek Church of the Brethren (2736 Marston Rd, New Windsor, MD 21776).
