He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob F. Berwager and Carrie Berwager (Sterner); his wife Gladys S. (Shriver); his close friend Mae Hamme; his daughter Janet Berwager; and his siblings, Mildred Grote and Clyde Berwager.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Wayne Laughman (Christine) of Harrisburg, PA, Carol Feeser of Ohio, Susan Kearney (Randy) of Spring Grove, PA and Denise Wentz (Jim) of Hanover, PA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jake's name to the Hanover Church of the Brethren, 601 Wilson Avenue, Hanover, PA 17331.
