He was predeceased by: his parents, Delphus F. Meckley and Mamie Meckley (Miller); his siblings, Hilda Folmer (John), Arlington Meckley (Blanche), Merrill Meckley (Beatrice), Leatrice Heldibridle (Arthur), Rita Brame (Arthur), George Meckley (Pauline), Edgar Meckley (McCree) and Ornan Meckley (Barbara); and his sister-in-law Shirley Schaeffer Lacomare (John).
He is survived by: his spouse Ruthetta (Schaeffer); his children, Gina (Michael Trimmer) and Benjamin (Stephanie Barnes); his grandchildren, Miles Meckley, Adriana Trimmer and Tyler Trimmer; his sister Eleanor Redding; and his brother-in-law Roland Schaeffer (Terry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
