He was predeceased by: his wife Pearl W. Fissel (Good); his parents, William B. Fissel and Marie E. Fissel (Ohler); his son James W. Fissel; and his sisters, Myrna Myers and Nadine Sentz.
He is survived by: his children, Marian Mikesell (Dan), Diane Strickhouser (Richard) of Taneytown, MD, Donna Hempfing (Gary) and Fred H. Fissel (Lori). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
