He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Funk and Blanche Funk (Becker); and his son-in-law William Glenny. He is survived by: his wife Linda C. Funk (Myerly); and his children, Karen Glenny, Todd Funk (Amy) and Jeff Funk. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
