With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn M. Jones (Hanover, Pennsylvania), born in Detour, Maryland, who passed away on December 16, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl L. Lescalleet and Maggie Lescalleet (Farber); her husband Robert D. Jones; and her grandson Jordan Oberle. She is survived by: her children, Richard M. Jones (Dolores) of Hanover, Gary L. Jones (Virginia) of Hanover, Wayne A. Jones (Sandy) of Perry, Roberta A. Sponseller (David) of New Oxford and Bruce L. Jones (Lou Ann) of Spring Grove; and her sisters, Frances Wilson and Lula Layne. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grand-children; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
