With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar G. Thomas of Hanover, Pennsylvania, born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 29, 2021 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary A. Thomas (Reigle); his parents, Guy F. Thomas and Sarah Thomas (Group); his son Dale Thomas; and his siblings, Geraldine Black, Jean Wolff, Marie Cangelosi and Franklin Thomas.

He is survived by: his grandson Matthew Miller of New Oxford; his sister Dolores Shupe of Gettysburg; his daughter-in-law Carlin Thomas of Littlestown; and his sisters-in-law, Pauline Hunter of Hanover and Joan Reigle of Hanover. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
