She was predeceased by: her husband Donald J. Smith; her parents, John Schuchart and Mary Schuchart (Althoff); her son Danny Smith; and her siblings, John Althoff, Rose Barnhart, Earl Schuchart, Virginia Schuchart and Patricia Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Smith (Beth) of Edgegrove, Lorraine Hallowell (Scott) of Hanover, Joanne Himes (Michael) of Hanover and Mary Ann Ryan (Rusty) of Fairfield. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
