He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Berg and Elva Berg (Barger); his wife Margaret C. (Cunningham); and his siblings, Pauline Mongold, Glenville Berg and Tracy Berg.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah A. Stambaugh (Bruce), John C. Berg (Jalane) and Beverly J. Baker (Lynn); and his grandchildren, Matthew C. Stambaugh, Jason J. Berg, Alison R. Baker, Joelle K. Smith, Elizabeth E. Stambaugh, Joshua L. Baker, Jeremy L. Baker, Patrick B. Stambaugh and Jennifer L. Baker. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
