He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph McConville and Mary Loretta; his wife Patricia; and his children, Robert McConville (Cathy), Christine Hartge (Robert), Michael McConville (Betsy), Edward McConville, Patricia McConville (Bobby) and A. Craig McConville (Sheila). He was also cherished by 15 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VFW Post 521 for the VFW National Home for Children.
