He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E., Sr. and Sadie M. Mong (Brenneman); his former wife Joan Mong (Sipe); and his siblings, William and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Julie C. Mong (Bickhart); his children, Michael E. Mong (Amy) of York and Barbara A. Kauffman of York; his stepdaughter Rennee Rissinger of Harrisburg; and his siblings, Carol, Richard, George, Donald (Patricia), Linda, Patricia, Ronald, Terry (Kathy), James (Kathy), John (Donna) and Kathy. He is also survived by five grandchildren, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family.
