With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Louise Shirk of Hanover, Pennsylvania, born in Woodbury, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 6, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clinton Elery Shirk; her parents, Jacob Clarence and Catherine Margaret Nicodemus (Fouse); and her brothers, Harold R. Nicodemus, Glenn J. Nicodemus, Eugene C. Nicodemus and Frank F. Nicodemus.
She is survived by: her children, Karen L. McKinstry (Don) of Baltimore, MD, C. Brian Shirk (Melinda) of Hanover, PA. and C. Edward Shirk (Jennifer) of Hanover, PA.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
