She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Rider and Helen C. Rider (Breighner); her husband Neil E. Kessel; her siblings, Terrance Rider and Jean Overbaugh; and her pet Subee.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel C. Kessel of Gettysburg, PA, Neil E. Kessel, Jr. of Hanover, PA, Deborah Garvick of Littlestown, PA and Troy Kessel of Gettysburg, PA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
