He was predeceased by: his parents, George Francis and Edna Elizabeth Hartlaub Martz. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Becker Martz; his sons, Randall Martz of Hanover, Andrew Martz of Hanover, Philip Martz of Spring Grove and Steven Martz of Hanover; his grandchildren, Shane, Melissa and Miranda Martz; and his great grandchild Timothy Sullivan.
