He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Diehl and Beatrice M. Diehl (Werner); and his sister Jeannie Ryan. He is survived by: his sister Peggy A. Horwedel of Hanover; his niece Jessica Snell; his nephew John Horwedel; and his former wife Cheryl Diehl of Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Allen's name to a charity of choice.
