He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kosar and Mary Mushalla Kosar. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Scott; his children, Amy Gula (Jim) and Nicholas Kosar of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Lauren, Chelsea and Vanessa Gula; and his sisters, Patsy Moyle and Irene Wengrzynek.
