He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto W. Shifflet and Gladys M. Koons Shifflet; his brother Richard O. Shifflet; and his niece Emily Ann Shifflet. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert E. Shifflet (Jane) of Hummelstown, Marion A. Pearl (Douglas) of Harrisburg and Nancy L. Shifflet of Harrisburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
