We bid farewell to Rita F. Amendola of Hanover Township, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 19, 2025. Rita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Amendola and Angela Damiano Amendola; and her siblings, Joseph, Anthony Amendola, Mary Moore, Angela, Margaret and Anna Marie Amendola.
She is survived by: her brother Dominic Amendola of Hanover Township; and her sister-in-law Helen Amendola of Jenkins Township. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Nicholas Church (226 S Washington St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Parish (226 S Washington St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
