He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Nellie Culp Knouse and Max Knouse. He is survived by: his wife Mary Washcalus; his sons, Michael J. Washcalus Jr. and Miles Washcalus; and his brother Gerald Washcalus Jr. (Nicolette).
